A Little Wiggly Whimsy

Terry over at Terry's Treasures is hosting a Sew-Along using the Moda Bake Shop pattern  Wiggly Whimsy by Ruby Blue Quilting Studio.   A no stress sew-along, work at your own pace but Terry suggests that you complete one vertical row a month for this little 56" by 56" quilt.  I got so anxious to see what the quilt was going to look like that I made two rows with two connector strips.

The pattern uses one charm pack for the dots and one solid jelly roll or fabric for the background.   I used a charm pack of  Howard Marcus Friendship that I purchased last summer in Tennessee and  Kona sand for the solid.

You can get the pattern for Wiggly Whimsy here.  Now on to the Small Quilt Challenge that Kathy Tracy is hosting.  This month we are using a pattern from her Civil War Sewing Circle called Civil War Scrap Doll Quilt.

Enjoy all the pieces of your life,
