Dear Hubby surprised me last week with an Apple iPad 4 for my birthday last week. Owning an iPad had been on my secret wish list for a couple of years but I couldn't justify spending that much money on something that I really didn't need. Needless to say, I was overjoyed with his gift.
We made a quick trip to the Apple store to learn some of the basics. I didn't have much time to get acquainted with my new tech toy as we were going out of town the next morning. It had been a dismal week, as my dear niece, Wendy, lost her long courageous battle with cancer and we were leaving to attend her funeral in Nebraska.
Wendy is my sister's oldest child and from the day that her mother and dad brought her home from the hospital and until she was three, I was able to be a part of her everyday life. Wendy was a beautiful baby that grew into a loving, kind, sensitive woman who married the man of her dreams and together they raised three lovely daughters. I love you Wendy and miss you.
Enjoy all the pieces of your life,

So sorry for your loss. Hugs
So sorry to hear about your loss. Lately it seems that bad news is all around. It's so scary. As for the iPad, you will have a blast. My husband and I each got one almost two years ago and we are rarely without them. In fact I carry mine all over the house with me. It has changed the way we do so many things. The more you use it - the more things you will find do use it for.
So sorry for your loss - such a beautiful woman.
Have fun with the new toy.
